We collect personal data from our users when they register or edit their existing profiles, whether direct with us or through a third party login such as Facebook.

In addition, we use both internal and third party tracking tools to collect data on what users do when on our site

The data we collect serves a primary purpose of improving the user experience. This applies both on the level for all users, such as showing a list of popular shows, and on the individual level such as showing personalised recommendations based on what you've watched recently.

In addition, the data may be used to more generally improve the performance and functionality of the website

Data we share

We use a number of third party tools to collect information about how our users use Oric, particularly in relation to navigation around the site. Those third parties are obligated to keep such data private.

We may share aggregated data (where we total up all of our users, or a section of users) with third parties, such as in a press release to say what the most popular shows are on Oric.
