Charmian Biggs is a young woman who's struggling to make ends meet looking after her children and husband. Things only get more complicated when her husband, Ronnie, takes part in the Great Train Robbery of 1963, and is forced to live life as a fugitive.

Mrs Biggs is a British drama series following the life of a woman who falls in love with a petty criminal. Against her father's wishes, Charmian runs away with Ronnie, stealing from her employer to help support their deprived lives. Despite wishing to live a normal life, Ronnie gets tempted by Bruce Reynolds to get involved in one of the most renowned robberies in British crime history. Charmian continues to support her husband when he flees the country, but how long can such an uncertain relationship last?

Mrs Biggs first aired on ITV1 on 5 September 2012. The show was praised for its realistic account of the Great Train Robbery, and the emotional torment of supporting the life of a fugitive.
